Art from the nomads

Bob Brown's photos from his latest travels have been collated into a collection called Nature's Patterns, which is now on display at Cygnet's Lovett Gallery - check out who attended the opening in this week's Huon News.

We also meet two more candidates for Huon Valley Council - independent Allison Bligh from Huonville and Greens endorsed Charlie Renner from Dover.

The 1000th student from the Huon Valley went through the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness programme last Friday, with support from local Rotary Club volunteers, Road Safety Education and RACT trainers, and local author Jane Johnson and illustrator Jill Bruce launched their new children's boo Lily and Lulu, A Seahorse Story at the Bowmont Centre.

The Huon News also has action from all the local football teams participating in finals, don't miss all your local Huon Valley news in this week's Huon News, available all around the Huon Valley and beyond, as well as by subscription online.
