Art, Art and Away

This November 5 to 7, Tasmanian Artists and Makers of the Huon (TAMOH) is inviting the public to join the ‘Art and Away’ trail

around the Huon Valley.

The trail, presented and organised by TAMOH, includes 20 local artists and makers in the Huon Valley area, as well as attractions, restaurants and cafes and accommodation around the Huon Valley to assist in tourists and locals alike in seeing what the Huon Valley has to offer.

The event will also be occurring at the same time as Terror Australis, the 2021 Huon Valley’s Writers Festival.

Bronwyn Clarke, a local artist and founder of TAMOH and the ‘Art and Away’ trail, said that the event is aimed at encouraging tourists to visit the Huon Valley area by promoting the variety of artists, accommodation, cafes, restaurants and attractions in the area.

“The event last year began as an art and wine trail, where we had eight artists contributing,” Ms Clarke explained.

“This year, we now have 20 participating artists and a growing list of accommodation providers and attractions for the Huon Valley area."
