The rain could not dampen the annual Cygnet Folk Festival nor the free-spirited hordes who turned up once again for the iconic event.
The festival started in 1982 which meant this year was its 43rd edition and continues to attract artists, artisans and in fact, all types of talent from far and wide to entertain and educate a captive audience.
Dozens of musicians of all genres entertained over the three-day festival.
The picturesque township with a stable population of around 5000 comes alive with visitors from all over Australia flocking to the area for a taste of what is best about the Huon Valley region.
On offer at the festival is a huge variety of music, dance, poetry, masterclasses, entertainment for children and the very best local food, wine, art and handicrafts.
