All Seasons Pruning and Grafting is based in the Huon Valley.

Kevin Cannell's pruning side of his business covers everywhere south of Brighton and he is happy to prune hobby orchards to a few trees in the backyard and everything in between.

His budding and grafting business covers south eastern Australia, including large scale commercial orchards and nurseries to a few trees in the backyard.

"I have been involved in the horticultural industry for 35 years, propagating stock trees of various varieties and involved in the maintenance of newborn trees to 65 years plus trees," said Kevin.

Pruning is very important in a plant's life.

All fruiting trees need to be a sustainable size, a good shape and have the right balance of fruiting buds and new growth every year.

All berry bushes and rose bushes need pruning to encourage new growth every year.

All ornamental shrubs need to be of a sustainable size and the right shape.

Encouraging new growth each year helps plants fight diseases, makes them look good and assists in bringing old trees back to life.

"I can achieve all of this with different pruning methods and modern pruning gear, making light work of any pruning job."
