Established in April 2018, Lucas Transport Services was a long running goal of owner/operator Clinton Lucas.

A family owned and operated business with over 10 years’ experience in the transport industry, no job is too big or small.

“We pride ourselves on getting those difficult jobs done and specialise in house lots of timber, roof and floor trusses and long lengths of LVL or steel framing,” said Clinton.

“We are proud to be working alongside many local manufacturers and builders who have helped make our first year in business so successful.”

Lucas Transport Services offer a flat tray crane truck with the ability to carry up to 8.4 metre lengths on tray or up to 12 metre lengths on racks.

HIAB Crane with 12 metre reach. Lifting and reach ability is weight dependent; they can offer a one ton lift at nine metres and 1/2 ton at 12 metres.

Their service extends past just delivering your items to site, as they are also happy to lift items into place, for example timber trusses up onto house frames or move items on site.

Their truck travels from the Huon Valley to Hobart and beyond daily.
